Our Story: Baking with Heart in Vonore

I fell in love with baking and catering as a child alongside my mother, who was always in the kitchen whipping up something amazing and sharing it with friends. I grew up, joined the military, and deployed to Iraq shortly after. It was there that I met my husband, Jared, and we were married years later. Cakes became a way for me to create something from nothing, make people happy, and fill their bellies! After many years of making cakes as a side hustle and working in catering full-time during the day, I took a leap of faith. I had a passion for making people smile with my food, and in 2018, I opened a storefront in Jacksboro, TN. We later relocated to my hometown of Greenback and opened a storefront just down the road, where I had also lived as a child in Vonore, TN, in 2024. You can often find one of our six children behind the register or baking you up some delicious treat, cooking you lunch, or cleaning the restaurant! We mean it when we say we are a family-owned and operated business.

They do an amazing job! The taste and presentation is out of this world! Not just the cakes, everything that comes out of her door! I just recently finished her cake decoration class, it was fun and I loved every second of it. Needless to say I am not a good student with anything crafty. She took time away from her family to teach her skills. She will never lose me as a customer or friend! What her and her employees offer is so much more than making cakes and selling them. After taking her class, and buying everything needed to make a cake, and icing makes me appreciate her and the team so much more!!!! Sorry for writing paragraph!
